I love fall, but sometimes the weather stresses me out! Last week, I had a session scheduled with this fun family and we only had a little window of time that we could do it in. So, when I saw that we were supposed to get a big storm with rain and snow, I was a little nervous. But luckily, the weather cleared and we ended up having a great session! This was my second session with this fun family. I met up with them earlier this year and it was so great to see them again! And I loved this new location that they suggested!! It is so fun to try out new and exciting places. But, I really need to stop wearing my flip flops to sessions. In the middle of the session, I tripped on a piece of rusty metal sticking out of the ground and cut my toe. Not really a big deal, until I realized that it has been well over ten years since my last tetanus shot. Since I don't really want to take my chances with tetanus (I read about it and it sounds awful!!) I went right in and got my shot. So now that I am protected... bring on the fun, new locations!! (And I will try to remember not to wear my flip flops!) Here's a little sneak peek from your session {B} family...

Another gorgeous family to share!! I seriously love brown eyes, probably because mine are blue. And all these cute kiddos are all lucky enough to have the most beautiful brown eyes. Love em'!! With the days getting shorter and shorter, I always feel like I am running out of light too soon. But there is one good thing that comes out of it....fun silhouette shots! We had to reschedule this session once because we were waiting for this little guy to learn to sit up and it was well worth the wait. He did such a great job! We had a great time hanging out in his grandparents gorgeous yard. I absolutely love big babies!! They are always so stinkin' happy and it makes my job so much fun!

I met up with these adorable kids at Gardner Village last week. While we were there, there were lots of people hard at work getting all of the fun Halloween decorations set up. Halloween is my favorite holiday. And I especially love all of the silly witches at Gardner Village! Even though I go see them every year, I still get a kick out of them. All of the pumpkins and hay bales decorating the doorways and sidewalks really got me in the mood for fall. And these kids were just so darn cute!! I felt so bad because we didn't have very long to shoot, so hopefully there will be more coming soon! But for now, here is a little peek from our session...

I had the chance to hang out with these cute girlies at the farm last week. During a session, one of my favorite things is getting to see how families interact with each other. I grew up with three sisters, so it was a lot of fun to watch these two together. It was so cute to see how much little Miss M looked up to her big sister. Everyone has heard the quote "A picture is worth a thousand words." Up until now, I have been content to let my pictures speak for themselves. But, I am coming up on my one year anniversary of being in business (and having this blog!) and I am in the mood to change things up just a little! Speaking of milestones, I did my 100th session last week. I can hardly believe that I have had the opportunity to work with so many amazing and wonderful people this past year. I can't even start to tell you how much I have enjoyed helping captured so many memories. I knew that it was coming and I was wondering which session it would be. When I sat down and figured it out, it turned out to be this fabulous family! I was so excited because they were my very first "official" session. How crazy is that?! It is so fun to see how much these cute kiddos have changed in the past year. I was in love with little Miss M's cute socks (& her adorably chubby little legs!) and Mr. T made such a great assistant. Thanks for the fun B family!!
